Janet Farley has 25+ years of experience working as a career change expert across industries and is the author of a number of career advice guides to include Mission Transition: Managing Your Career and Your Retirement (Rowman & Littlefield, 2018) and Military Life 101: Basic Training for New Military Families (Rowman & Littlefield, 2016). She is a Certified Federal Job Search Coach (CFJSC), a Certified Federal Job Search Trainer (CFJST) and a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW). Farley holds a Master's Degree in Human Services and Human Resource Education from Boston University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Maryland. She currently teaches career planning courses in the College of Business at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
