How I Work With Clients
It is my mission to help clients find meaningful work, or to find meaning within the work they already have. Through our journey together, I can help you make career decisions, identify obstacles, and learn how the be the author of your own life. My role is to ask the right questions and provide the support and resources needed to select your best career path.

Based in Denver, CO, I work both locally and remotely with people all over the world. My process is tailored to fit each individual client’s preferences and goals and may include any of the following:

Myers-Briggs Master Practitioner (CPP): the Myers-Briggs looks at how people perceive the world around them and make decisions. The underlying assumption of the MBTI is that we all have specific preferences in the way we construe our experiences, and these preferences underlie our interests, needs, values, and motivation

Strong Interest Inventory certified (G/S Consultants): The Strong is an interest inventory often used in career counseling. The goal of this assessment is to give insight into a person's interests, so that they may have less difficulty in deciding on an appropriate career choice for themselves

StrengthsQuest trained (Gallup): A positive psychology assessment that helps individuals discover their natural talents and how to develop their talents into strengths, and coach them to apply their strengths

Biography
I am a career counselor and coach with a holistic and client-centered approach. I focus on meeting individuals where they are so they feel understood and appreciated, and come away with tools for lifelong career development. I have a passion for helping people connect with careers they love.

I spent studied abroad in Japan both in high school and college, and then spent 3 years living and working in Japan on the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program. I have also traveled internationally in Asia and Europe.

My areas of expertise include international work and multiculturalism; the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Strong Interest Inventory (SII); public speaking on career topics; job search, resumes, cover letters, interviews; and LGBTQ job-search issues. Advanced spoken Japanese language.
