Biography
Jenny is the Adult Education & Career Pathways Program Manager for Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning in Denver, CO. She oversees the career coaching services and ESL classes for immigrant and refugee populations. Career services support internationally trained immigrants and refugees reclaiming their careers in the healthcare sectors in the US. She considers herself so lucky to work with this population!
She holds a BA in Biology Education from Colorado State University and a MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from University of Northern Colorado. With a background in recruiting, teaching, and living overseas, it was her time in Jordan teaching refugees that sparked an interest to work with similar populations in the US.
As a Colorado native, she is a biracial Asian-American whose grandparents immigrated from China. She believes in the importance of creating inclusive career pathways and expanding cultural and linguistic diversity in the workforce and our communities. She looks forward to connecting with many new career professionals through CCDA!
