Biography
Originally from Lexington, KY, Emily received her BA in Psychology and Music from Butler University in Indianapolis and her MA in Counseling and Career Development from CSU. Her own struggles to identify a job that brought her meaning and fulfillment led her to the field of career counseling and has ever since loved supporting individuals through their career journeys. Emily currently works as a Career Coach at ActivateWork supporting underserved populations to land job opportunities in tech. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Certified Career Counselor, and most recently obtained her LPC. She is a member of NCDA and CCDA and thrilled to be part of the Colorado career community.
