Biography
Sarah Smith is the Director of Center for Career and Professional Development at Regis University and has worked at Regis in multiple roles including: Director, Assistant Director, Career Counselor, Instructor, and Director of Military and Veteran Services. Prior to joining Regis University, Sarah provided career counseling to military service members and their spouses as they transitioned from the U.S. Army. Sarah has also worked at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs' Career Center as a Career Counselor Intern, and at the University's Counseling Center as a Therapist Intern. She got her start and found her passion in Higher Education as a Psychology Peer Advisor, RA, and Undergraduate Hall Director.
Sarah joined the CCDA Board in 2021. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She has a Master's degree in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and a Bachelor's degree from James Madison University where she majored in Psychology with concentration in Psychology of Leadership, and a minor in Spanish.
Sarah enjoys helping clients by providing career counseling through a caring, intentional, and compassionate lens so they can feel empowered with their career development, understand what their vocational purpose is, and how they can/will impact their community.
