Biography
Jennifer has worked in career services for 25+ years. Before coming to CU Boulder, she assisted alumni with their career needs at the University of Texas at Austin, Southwestern University (Texas) and Bowling Green State University (Ohio). Jennifer’s expertise is in career coaching and advising, as well as creating and implementing career webinars, virtual series and on-site workshops related to job search and career transition. Jennifer holds an M.A. in higher education and student affairs with an emphasis in guidance and counseling from Bowling Green State University, as well as a B.S. in clothing and textiles from Kansas State University.
Although Jennifer has spent the majority of her time in university and alumni career services and events, she has prior experience in corporate retail management and buying, university admissions and recruitment, university student affairs, housing/residence life and Greek life. She has facilitated career transition seminars, conference sessions and undergraduate career and first-year transition courses. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys hiking, browsing antique stores & flea markets, wine tasting and traveling internationally.
