About the Program:

The Summer 2024 program begins on June 13, 2024. It is a “deep dive” that features live, internet-based instruction and personalized mentoring. Participants learn to assist individuals to choose a manageable career, find a job, and stay hired. The program qualifies for 19.5 Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credits and includes:

      • 8 interactive, weekly sessions with tips, techniques and case studies covering various autism spectrum profiles
      • Assignments consisting of readings, short answer questions, and case study reviews with personal feedback from the facilitator
      • A 6-week supervised practicum that provides hands-on experience
      • Extensive written materials

About the Instructor:

Since 2006, Barbara Bissonnette has specialized in career development coaching for individuals on the spectrum. Barbara shares tools, tips and techniques that she has honed during her work with more than 1,000 clients—the majority of whom have college degrees and are seeking competitive employment.
